As Business Manager for CaptionMate Jon oversees all aspects of the companies product development, sales and stratagy. With over 17 years of experience developing products for individuals with hearing loss, Jon previously servered as CSO for Bellman & Symfon where he set up North American operations for the Swedish based company. For the eight years prior Jon served as Director of Sales for Clarity Products LLC. and Sr. Product Manager for Plantronics where he successfully brought one of the first IPCTS (Internet Protocol Captioned Telephone Service) phones to market. Jon worked for the State of Florida’s Equipment Distribution Program and was responsible for expanding the services avaialbe for individuals with disabilities in Florida, California, Canada and the VA (Veterans Administration). Jon is a Certified Product Manager (PCM III) and fluent in ASL (American Sign Langauage). He is an avid motorcyle rider and has a Bachelors degree in Applied Science (B.A.Sc) from Florida State University.
