Here are some of my favorite freedoms:
- Last year I decided I wanted to move to the Caribbean island of Trinidad, and I made it happen in less than a week. (because hey, I can work from anywhere, so why not?)
- I have enough money to make generous donations to projects and charities that make me proud.
- I never wait in line at the grocery store because I do all of my grocery shopping on a weekday when everyone else is at work. Hooray. (the smallest things make the biggest difference)
- I get to create my own days. I get to be my own boss.
- I never clean my house or do my laundry. Why? Because I have what I like to call a “house mom” come once a week. (this brings me so much joy, it’s unreal.)
- Stress is a rarity, and because of that, it has allowed me to live a far healthier life.
- I get to invest in incredible (and expensive) experiences for myself. This year I flew to San Diego for a spiritual retreat, stayed at a luxurious hotel, rented a car, and had the soul-nourishing experience of a lifetime.
- I get to choose the projects I work on, the clients I work with, and get to actively create the career of my dreams.
- I never have to count up my vacation days. In fact, I can take vacation whenever I want. Literally. A few weeks ago I was craving some down time by the beach, so I took Monday as a full blown “beach day”. (Because again, why not?)
- It’s given me space to focus on the things in life that I really love – like spirituality.
It’s my mission to help as many people as possible experience these types of freedoms for themselves, because I know that when people are doing what they love, when money is no longer an issue, and when they have space in their lives to focus on what truly lights them up, the world can only change for the better.
