Our unique background begins with the fact that all three MarketGauge partners began our careers with extensive floor trading experience. On the floor we enjoyed the atmosphere of competitive entrepreneurial drive combined with generous willingness to mentor new or struggling fellow floor traders. At MarketGauge we strive to pass along the trading tactics, coaching, and mentorship mentality that we enjoyed on the floor.

I believe that one of the best ways to become a better trader or investor is to find a good mentor, so it’s not surprising that I have been so happy with TAB’s ability to help me build a better business for our customers and employees. TAB has provided an invaluable mentoring and consulting resource for my business challenges in the same way that a veteran trader can show a new trader how to avoid common costly mistakes and capitalize on opportunities. One of the most unexpected benefits of being a member of TAB has been being part of a supportive group of like-minded entrepreneurs from very different businesses. This variety gives you a new perspective for solving problems.

The TAB board also makes it clear that all businesses have very similar problems to solve, and you don’t have to figure them out on your own. It only took one meeting with my TAB board for me to see the incredible value in having a group of other business leaders give me honest, raw feedback about issues I needed to solve in my business.

Our TAB meetings offer provide me with critical analysis of the issues I ask for feedback on. No politics, no holding back, and no hard feelings. It’s invaluable.  Of course, TAB provides the foundation on which a group of smart entrepreneurs can create good outcomes, but it’s the TAB leader that can turn good into great. My TAB leader, Gene Bohensky, is a mentor and coach by example. The best kind!

Gene is not only a TAB leader, but he also actively operates several diverse businesses. As a result, he’s able to bring his own experiences to bear on the challenges you’re facing in your business. Therefore, like a great mentor, he can relate to where you are now, and guide you to the path that will take you to where you want to be next.
