In this course you will be embarking on a journey through the world of order flow. Ever since algorithms entered the trading arena and machines became responsible for making markets, trading has become highly random, especially at the micro level. So people wanting to scalp in the equity, futures or other exchange based markets needed to build a very practical knowledge of market micro structure or simply what we call Order Flow Trading.
In this course I will be breaking down from basic diagrams, what order flow trading is and getting deep into the practices of market makers on the various global exchanges and teaching you to spot predatory algorithms. This is a prelude to my DOM course already on Udemy, so it is a must for all traders wishing to understand DOM (Depth Of Market) scalping. This is an incredibly difficult subject in trading and not often taught to retail traders because of its complexity and depth, remember retail traders are heavily influenced by brokers who want easy prey. So while the course is open to all levels, this will require constant study of the program and some practice. Now that’s out of the way… Traders wanting to be top of their game will find it rewarding, insightful and above all practical to implement. Those who know me, already know you are in for an exciting ride into the world of Order Flow Trading.
You will learn –
- The Basics Of Order Flow
- How To Identify predatory algorithms
- Identify the strong side of the orderbook
- The concept of a ledge or ladder
- Market maker techniques and more….
What is forex trading?
Forex, or foreign exchange, can be explained as a network of buyers and sellers, who transfer currency between each other at an agreed price. It is the means by which individuals, companies and central banks convert one currency into another – if you have ever travelled abroad, then it is likely you have made a forex transaction.
While a lot of foreign exchange is done for practical purposes, the vast majority of currency conversion is undertaken with the aim of earning a profit. The amount of currency converted every day can make price movements of some currencies extremely volatile. It is this volatility that can make forex so attractive to traders: bringing about a greater chance of high profits, while also increasing the risk.
